Najib Tun Razak diiringi Khairy Jamaluddin memerhatikan Nur Adilah Bakri dan Nur Huda Hassan (kiri) mengisi borang pendaftaran peluang pekerjaan di Karnival Kerjaya Pemuda BN di PWTC, Kuala Lumpur, semalam.


KUALA LUMPUR 25 Mac - Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak berkata, peningkatan jumlah pekerjaan di pasaran ketika ini menunjukkan bahawa ekonomi negara berkembang pada landasan yang baik.
Perdana Menteri menambah, ia juga merupakan manifestasi daripada kejayaan Barisan Nasional (BN) menerusi pelbagai program transformasi ekonomi dan kerajaan yang dilaksanakan ketika ini.
"Peluang pekerjaan ini tidak wujud dengan sendiri melainkan menerusi galakan yang diberikan oleh kerajaan yang menyediakan hala tuju jelas kepada syarikat swasta dan syarikat milik kerajaan (GLC) untuk membuat pelaburan di dalam dan luar negara," katanya ketika berucap merasmikan Karnival Kerjaya Pemuda BN di sini hari ini.
Hadir sama Ketua Pemuda BN, Khairy Jamaluddin.
Pada majlis sama, Najib mewakili Pemuda BN menerima pengiktirafan daripada Malaysia Book of Records atas kejayaan karnival kerjaya itu yang diiktiraf terbesar pernah dianjurkan di negara ini.
Najib turut mewakili Pemuda BN menerima sumbangan biasiswa daripada pelbagai institusi pengajian tinggi swasta berjumlah RM16.5 juta bagi mengisi tabung Biasiswa Pendidikan Pemuda BN (YES).
Beliau menambah, karnival kerjaya itu juga adalah salah satu contoh pendekatan model politik baru yang menjadi amalan BN ketika ini iaitu untuk tampil sebagai peneraju penyelesaian masalah rakyat.
Ia juga, kata beliau, selaras dengan hasrat untuk menonjolkan wajah perjuangan baru BN yang lebih dinamik, kuat dan berorientasikan tindakan.
"Kita tidak mahu menunggu orang lain membuat perubahan itu sebaliknya kita yang menawarkan penyelesaian yang efektif kepada masalah dihadapi rakyat," katanya.
Dalam perkembangan lain, Najib berkata, kerajaan akan memikirkan cara terbaik untuk menyokong inisiatif terbaru yang diperkenalkan oleh Pemuda BN iaitu YES.
Sambil menyifatkan inisiatif itu sesuatu yang baik terutamanya kepada generasi muda, Najib berkata, kerajaan selama ini juga sentiasa memberi sokongan penuh kepada program-program yang dilahirkan menerusi Makmal Pemuda BN.

Pemuda BN sedia biasiswa RM16.5 juta

KUALA LUMPUR 25 Mac – Biasiswa Pendidikan Pemuda Barisan Nasional (BN) (YES) yang dilancarkan hari ini menerima sumbangan RM16.5 juta daripada 12 institusi pengajian tinggi swasta (IPTS).
Pengerusi Pemuda BN, Khairy Jamaluddin berkata, YES akan memberi peluang kepada lebih 200 pelajar cemerlang yang berasal daripada keluarga kurang berkemampuan dan kurang upaya untuk melanjutkan pengajian ke peringkat tertinggi pada tahun ini.
Katanya, Pemuda BN akan menubuhkan satu jawatankuasa yang diketuai ahli akademik untuk menilai dan mempertimbangkan permohonan yang dibuka kepada semua pelajar di seluruh negara.
“Mereka yang berminat boleh membuat permohonan itu secara dalam talian di laman web www.bnyes.com.my bermula minggu depan,” katanya pada sidang akhbar selepas menghadiri Majlis Pelancaran Karnival Kerjaya BN (BNYJF) yang dilancarkan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak di sini hari ini.
Dalam perkembangan lain, Khairy memberitahu, kira-kira 500,000 pencari kerja dijangka membanjiri Pusat Dagangan Dunia Putra (PWTC) sepanjang berlangsungnya BNYJF selama tiga hari bermula hari ini.
Ujarnya, BNYJF kali ini akan menawarkan 40,000 peluang pekerjaan daripada kira-kira 650 syarikat terdiri daripada syarikat milik kerajaan (GLC), syarikat swasta dan agensi kerajaan.
